I LOVE this 1800’s trestle. And my son took the photo that this painting is based on, presenting a side view of the same Galloping Goose 1800's train trestle I painted as a frontal view. It was challenging getting all those wood cross bars!!

All that lumber had a risk of deteriorating after 20 years after it was built, or catching on fire by the locomotives, so the fact that this one still stands is truly fun.

This painting took a lot of time with all the details I wanted to capture, besides working with an alcohol ink flow I had to control. And I think I achieved a good result!
